SaaS Cloud Hosting Platforms
SaaS hosting means locating services in a single centralized area that is easily accessible to the user remotely. This may be storing the solution with the software vendor we work with or off site even to the software vendor. No matter what the final location, we often prefer to build the solution with either Amazon EC2 or Googles servers. For development purposes this has proven to be a very practical solution for both ease of development and testing the solution.
In addition to the above technologies, Cleo Networks works with a wide variety of frameworks or open source content management systems, including Drupal, Wordpress or Joomla. Whilst these are not ideal to use for SaaS deployments, the requirement for each application is different. Picking the right technology is a very important part of building reliable and robust infrastructure and will be key to building good architecure.
